Comcast officially takes control of NBC this week,Your Baby Can Read, and they just unveiled the new logo — sans peacock — for NBCUniversal (yeah,zumba fitness dvd, the space is gone too).

When you think of NBC, the first thing that comes to mind is probably their iconic logo. The rainbow-colored peacock has been the trademark of the network since 1956 — and now it’s gone.

Reps have said that the famous multi-colored bird will still be a part of the NBC brand, but the logo is definitely not as cheery without it.
